New Features: More Personal Profiles

Hello to everyone here at Take To The Sky, and a very big welcome to all our new members! 24, thats amazing!

Onto business: I spent the morning seeking out stuff to make everyone's profiles a little more personal. I felt they were a bit bland, and that they all looked the same - and besides who doesn't want a cool profile?

~*~*THE THREE FEATURES*~*~

1 - Muse Indicator

If you aren't aware of the term, the word muse is what roleplayers use to describe how creative or inspired they are feeling, meaning how much they can write or how good the quality of their writing will be. On your profile modifying page, you will have the choice of Good, Medium and Low. It will then show up on your list of info where your email and everything else is, and also in your mini profile when you post.

2 - Location Flags

To make it easier for everyone to see where someone is from, and what timezone they might be in, we have now added a location indicator, which allows you to have the flag of the country you are in on your profile. It also shows up in your mini-profile when posting. At the moment, we have USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, and Australia, but if anyone needs another country please feel free to PM myself and I will add it!

3 - Personal Backgrounds

And finally, you can now have a personal background on your profile and mini-profiles! You must first find the direct URL of a acceptable background. There are very little rules on this - no rude images and make sure it doesn't obscure the text (e.g makes it difficult to see some text on mini-profile). Try typing in colours on google images, like teal background, and you should find some cool ones.

As an addition, when you post you also can now have an 'Open' indicator on the thread, meaning that anyone can join. It is the Thumbs Up icon. If there is demand for it, we will make a 'Closed' one also, but for now there is none.
